No joy…

The library has had a number of inquiries about tax forms. We have for many years participated in the tax distribtution program and have had forms and instructions available free of charge. We are still a part of that program but we have received no forms yet. We fully expect to receive the forms but we do not know when they will be shipped nor do we know if all the forms and instructions that we ordered will be available.

During this time we ask for your patience. If you want to save a trip into town, please feel free to give us a call at 715-762-3121. We will be happy to help with any inquiries you may have.

Tired of the cold weather? Stop in the library soon! We have a great collection of books, dvds, computers for public use…and heat!

In the lobby you’ll find a of display of materials that remember some of the authors, musicians, and actors who passed away in 2014. Along with familiar names like Robin Williams, Maya Angelou, and Pete Seeger you’ll find other not so familiar names like Maria von Trapp (the real life Maria from the Sound of Music), David Legeno (Greyback from the Harry Potter movies), and Dick Jones (the voice of Pinocchio).

Did I mention we have big comfy chairs in the lobby too? Come in and try one out for an afternoon. We’re open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am – 2 pm.
